I was never really a makeup person, mostly because I'm usually too lazy for things like that and am always running late. But, let's just say my youth ran out and makeup became more of a... necessity. Luckily (and unluckily) a friend introduced me to Lisa Eldridge's YouTube channel. Lisa Eldridge is a professional makeup artist who has worked with stars like Kate Winslet, Kristen Stewart, Kiera Knightley, and Clemence Poesy (to name a few). She also has a blog where he features her work.

I watch her videos a lot. It's embarrassing how often I actually watch her videos. They're not only informative, but I just love seeing the transformation. Makeup: real world magic. Can't say I've mastered the mystique, but she comes out with new videos quite often.

Ultimate favorites: Chanel blush and Make Up For Ever cream eyeshadow in no. 2
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT:
Lisa Eldridge video-watching may cause sudden bouts of excitement, the urge to buy 17 different types of red lipstick, shopping sprees at Sephora, and/or significantly less space on your bathroom countertops/medicine cabinet/drawers/etc.
